My Bio:
I joined ENG as a trainee consultant in June 2010, I joined ENG because I felt like it was the right cultural fit for me, and had the right level of support for someone coming in with no experience. I had interviews and offers with a number of recruitment companies but was instantly drawn to the leadership team of ENG, and the family feel. I joined with zero recruitment experience, and was given a busy desk to look after whilst a consultant was on maternity leave, with the opportunity to build my own desk alongside it. I loved being thrown in head first, and had to get to grips with the industry quickly, which worked well for me. Over the last 10 years I have progressed through the ranks, tried management and other roles that lead to the role of Brand Leader for the HSE Recruitment Network and most recently Associate Director of ENG. My role enables me to take full accountability for the HSE Recruitment Network, a team and brand I am extremely passionate about and have dedicated my career to, and look after all external branding, speak and promote our services and knowledge at events and more, whilst still getting to recruit day to day. It's the perfect role for me! I work tirelessly on the HSE brand, and the perception of safety as a whole to make Health and Safety better. I was heavily involved in the development of our recruitment process and am passionate about ensuring that we offer an in depth, honest and different approach to other agencies. I work with my team to up-skill us constantly, and have taken safety qualifications to ensure that I know the industry inside and out and can offer the best advice to our clients. I love the culture here at ENG and I have, throughout my career, felt supported and inspired. I love that ENG have been able to utilise the things I am passionate about to create a role that is right for me and I am inspired by the professionals I work with in my team and the wider ENG family daily. We are a passionate and enthusiastic crew who all genuinely care about what we do, it makes me happy to come to work every day!
