The Executive Network Groups Logistics and Transport division has partnered with one of the a hugely reputable retailers who are searching for a specialist retail Procurement Manager on full time permanent basis in the North West of England.

Salary: circa 100k -115k (Negotiable)
Location: North West (Hybrid)

The Retail Procurement Manager must have:

· Specialist retail procurement experience – preferably within supermarkets
· Extensive experience in negotiations / Knowledge of financial, legal and commercial contracts
· A proven track records of successful delivery of projects within allocated timeframe that produce effective results
· A highly analytical and numerate
· A managerial experience in a GNFR procurement role (retail desirable)

Retail Procurement Manager responsibilities:

· Build and maintain relationships with both current and external suppliers
· Seek out and propose commercially beneficial opportunities using market and business knowledge to the Executive Board
· Implement process for tender and selecting suppliers
· Identify opportunities where savings and/or value can be added.
· Make suggestions for and ensure procurement initiatives and strategies are maximised
· Create and maintain a centralised database for GNFR contracts.
· Liaise with senior stakeholders to deliver savings
· Develop and implement suitable cost evaluation tools
· Constructively challenge on GNFR costs, decisions and proposals
