Technical Product Development Manager – East Midlands
Package: £80k – 90k OTE
Location: Derby (Hybrid)
 
The Executive Network Groups Logistics & Transport Division is currently recruiting for a Technical Product Development Manager in East Midlands to join one of our main clients on a full time permanent basis.

You will work closely with key personnel in both the Innovation and Fleet Teams to develop the processes and products to act on available analytics and digital opportunities whilst providing the evidence of how data can positively impact reliability / availability of our assets and therefore positive outcomes for our customers.
To be considered for this Technical Product Development Manager in East Midlands you must have:

• Transformational change experience 
• A Strong technical background – Rail, or Engineering  ideally
• Experience developing processes
• Exposure to AI or data science experience – desirable
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle (with past examples of implementing this for product development).
• Experience in Cloud services including Azure
• Data analytics and data science experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the ‘Vision’ of both internal and external digital products.
• Create, develop, and manage overarching product roadmaps, defining success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
• Assess emerging products to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as making recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
• Assist in developing business policy and internal processes (i.e., Data Governance, Software Development Lifecycle) and facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
• Management of software and coding change management processes
