Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a world class manufacturing facility in Telford. The successful applicant will play an integral part within a strong manufacturing engineering with the aim to provide world class leading service and the platform for class leading OEE.
Reliability Engineer - Manufacturing Plant Maintenance
Salary to £50000 package
Location: Telford
Duties:
o Working a double shift pattern (6-2; 2-10) leading the reliability management program – continually reviewing equipment data to identify opportunities to improve MTTR & MTBF
o Performing Root Cause Analysis
o Participation in capital & process improvement ( particularly automation & controls) projects to ensure that equipment reliability and machine availability are continually improved
o Monitoring of failures to identify root causes and implementing appropriate actions
o Organisation and indirect leadership of Criticality Assessment and Risk Based Maintenance analysis (FMECA/RCM/REM) teams
o Initiation and implementation of changes to PMs when appropriate
o Provision of training as needs are identified, including Root Cause Failure Analysis training for maintenance technicians and others as required
Experience:
You are like to already be working in the capacity as a Reliability Engineer or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is seeking to make a difference by bringing your passion and expertise/ talent to support the continuous strategy of improvements to achieve world class metrics.
o HNC / Degree education with a strong Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background, with a focus on reliability and maintenance engineering
o Strong analytic capabilities, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams
o Demonstrate experience in advanced root cause analysis and problem solving
o Condition based monitoring knowledge highly desirable
o Strong automation / controls experience utilising Siemens PLC, HMI & robotic systems
o Able to work a double day shift pattern Monday to Friday
