Senior Health Safety and Environmental Advisor - London – Manufacturing Company
HSE Recruitment Network are currently representing this fast paced Manufacturing organisation who specialise in food manufacturing, and are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to based at one large single site. A great opportunity to make your own mark, make a positive difference across 4 diverse, large sites within the group.
Job Title, HSE Advisor
Based, Wembley, London ( NW10)
Reporting to the Group HSE Manager
Salary : £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + Benefit package which includes, matched pension, up to 10% company bonus and 25 days holiday + bank
Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5pm *with flexibility to work one night and one weekend day per month* which can be booked at your convenience
Seeking a dynamic and passionate Health and Environment Advisor to support 4 local sites and work closely with the London HSE Manager. Someone who can connect, and gain buy in from both the factory floor and stakeholders. The successful individual would be well supported and be a key player within the site based HSE Team. Within this role there is an expectation to be able to lead with gravitas, manage change, develop procedures, and deliver an effective and positive culture behavioural change programme.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are followed and implemented, and that the Business always complies with corporate and legal requirements.
- Ensure a positive and constructive HSE culture is prevalent throughout the Business.
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
- Interact closely with the head of operation on site and have a collaborative approach to HSE
- Fast Paced Manufacturing experience, ideally with prior food manufacturing experience
- NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to engage at all levels
- Practically minded
- Able to influence with confidence, gain buy -in with strong communication skills
- Robust character, who can challenge others in the right way
