We are working with a global organisation based in Houston to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager to support its North American operations.

 
This role sits within a well‑established procurement function and will take ownership of strategic sourcing and category activity, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the US. It’s a hands‑on leadership role, suited to someone who operates comfortably between strategy and execution.


 
Key Responsibilities
 

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management activity across assigned spend areas

• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial value and cost improvement

• Own supplier strategy, negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance

• Drive best practice across procurement processes and governance

• Support broader procurement and transformation initiatives across the business

 

About You
 

• Proven experience in a Senior Procurement Manager or Strategic Sourcing Lead role

• Strong background in end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and category management

• Experience working within large, complex or global organisations

• Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders

• Comfortable operating in a US‑based, matrix environment

• Houston-based 

• Hybrid Schedule 

• $175,000 - $195,000 plus bonus
