Job Title: Mobile Field Service Engineer (Home-Based)
Location: Peterbourgh (UK Wide Travel Required)
Working Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
• 39-hour work week

About the Role:
Due to continued growth, an established company is seeking a Mobile Field Service Engineer to join their team across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment, including Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu machinery. This is a field-based role, and you will be required to travel up to 100 miles from home each day, with occasional overnight stays for work further afield.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults on Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu machinery
• Conducting electrical troubleshooting, overhauls, and other maintenance tasks
• Flexibility to work away when required, as well as a willingness to undertake overtime
• Regular interaction with the team to ensure that client needs are met efficiently

Person Specification:
To be considered for this position, you should have the following:

• Level 2 qualification in Plant Maintenance
• Full UK Driving License
• Experience with gas welding and cutting (ideal)
• In-depth experience with servicing, repairing, and diagnosing Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu equipment
• A strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical overhauls
• Ability to work away from home and a flexible approach to hours

Salary and Benefits:

• £16.50 per hour (reviewed annually in June)
• Overtime rates starting at time-and-a-half
